A gorgeous soundscape by my friend, Chris. His artwork makes me want to
smash the state so we can create a society in which he and artists like
him can just sit around and make art all day.
Of course, I know if he is reading this, he is scoffing and muttering "Ya damn hippie!" under his breath, even though I also know he probably thinks the idea of me smashing the state so he can sit around and do art all day is pretty neat!

Hey everyone. This is a little thingy. Words by Lainie, Mix by Chris. I am feeling kind of self-conscious about sharing it, but here goes anyway.
I got myself an mp3 player for my birthday and am slowly becoming fascinated with the sounds I can create with the voice recorder. When I gave my humble bleatings to my friend Chris (a solo artist who works under the name Black Wax Machine) he created something amazing and, I think, kind of beautiful. If you can ignore the fact that I sound like a pre-adolescent boy.
